Turismo responsable en las montañas de Alicante
A fantastic point to point walking trip exploring valleys and summiting peaks. Discovering along the little secrets and village life of Las Marinas parish. Vertical landscape, with the inprint of human beings in terraces, Moorish irrigation channels and water systems. Based on an accommodation with 50 years of prestige, this is the place to discover the real local homefood, admire the unique sunrises from your terrace and mountain tops turning golden at the end of the day. And the best way to explore it all is through the eyes, organizational skills and deep knowledge of our local guide. Although close to the Costa Blanca, the dramatic massif of Sierra de Aitana has remained a secret from all but a few discerning visitors. We follow traditional footpaths and mule tracks, mostly along ridge lines, giving us spectacular panoramic vistas, and then descend to beautiful valleys with natural springs, fantastic limestone amphitheatres, and where castles dot distant hilltops. The rocky peaks and steep valleys which sweep down to the Mediterranean coast, benefit from the privilege of a warm climate for over 300 days of the year, making it an ideal location for out-of-season walking.
A walking trip designed to discover the best secrets of Marina Baixa, travelling along historical mule tracks, like in the past, and summiting the 4 highest peaks of the Costa Blanca.
5 days of walking, plus free day. Maximum height 1550m. Average 1000m. Daily distance covered 18 kms. Average daily ascent 800 mts.
