Jose Miguel Garcia Fraile aka Miguelito
(You pronounce that Cccccchhhhhose.)
Mountain and Climbing instructor, co founder of Terra Ferma in 1998, award winning company and pioneer of walking holidays in Costa Blanca. Started climbing and developing routes in many Costa Blanca crags in 1994. He has work as a travel consultant for Valencian Turism Board, offered lectures on active holidays for The University of Valencia. Lecturer of the 1st Valencian symposium on Outdoor tourism. He has designed and guided tours for major specialized adventure holidays operators since 1999. In 2009 founded Aitana Aventures.
He lives in a small village with his girlfriend where he grows his organic vegetables and lives with his family and pets.
Jaime Escolano aka The Animal
(You pronounce that Cccccchhhhhaime.)
Journalist and Manager of audiovisual production at www.okmountain.com has extensive experience as Mountain Leader and Canyoning Instructor since 2001. Don’t get fooled by his tummy, he is an expert and supervisor of way- marking trails as well as running competitions (UTMB finisher 2011), alpine ascents (Lenin Peak 2003) and organizing races. Jaime has published mountain biking and hiking guidebooks and produced articles and tv programs for local media since 1995.
Sara Strecker aka The German
Born and raised in Germany, Sara completed their tourism management training in the travel agency Enchanting Travels in Munich. After finishing it she went traveling through India on her own and hitchhiked through Europe. She worked in permaculture projects in southern Spain before she got in contact with the rest of the team in 2015. She fell in love with the people (mostly in Jose Miguel) and the landscapes of the Sierra de Aitana and decided to stay here and to convey this passion to walkers from around the world. She did her formacion as profesional mountain guide in 2021.
Antonio Garcia Fraile aka Tono
Keen outdoor photographer, and Team manager at Aitana Aventures, IT expert and financial consultant, founder of several companies of the computer market, leaves this world behind to start his true passion: organizing travel experiences for small groups: Fully devoted to the adventure travel, creates F&N Experience and integrates Aitana Aventures on his project, offering a new way to conceive outdoor activities, hobbies and passions. Designing and managing new trips to get maximum customers satisfaction has become his main occupation. (Apart from being the best boss alive!)
